Press release: A new chapter in the award history of the CCW

The "European Customer Champion" award will be presented for the first time at the CCW 2021 from 28 June to 1 July. This award will recognise groundbreaking projects in the field of innovative customer dialogue.

The “European Customer Champion” describes a new chapter in the award history of the CCW: for the first time, the competition at the CCW also offers space for groundbreaking projects outside the DACH region.

In the case of the “CAt Award” previously presented at the CCW, the jury has repeatedly had to turn down requests for great projects in recent years because they could not be admitted due to the three-way division of the CAt Award into the countries “Germany”, “Austria” and “Switzerland”. With the European Customer Champion, these projects can now also take part in the competition.

An expert jury first examines the applications and evaluates them on the basis of a detailed evaluation catalogue. A new features is the personal presentation of the projects nominated by the jury on the large CCW stage. This pitch will also be evaluated by the conference audience and will be included in the overall evaluation, on the basis of which the three best projects from the competition will be awarded the title “European Customer Champion” for their respective focal topic.

The “CAt Award”, which has been presented at the CCW for the past 21 years, has always been presented jointly by Management Circle and CallCenterProfi. The editor of the CCP, Simone Fojut, as co-initiator, also chaired the jury. She now wishes to withdraw from these functions. The new award will therefore be held without the participation of CallCenterProfi.

Over the past 20 years, Management Circle and CallCenterProfi have jointly awarded many groundbreaking projects. This is due in no small part to Simone Fojut’s commitment and her persistence in repeatedly motivating great service and contact centre managers to apply for the award. “We have experienced many exciting award ceremonies and winner trips together. We would like to thank Simone Fojut very much for this exciting and productive time in the long history of the award and we look forward to continuing our cooperation with her as the CCW’s media partner,” says Sigrid Bauschert, CEO of Management Circle AG.

The CCW will take place in the summer this year for the first time – from 28 June to 1 July 2021

The conference trade fair will also be launched as a hybrid event for the first time: the live offering at the ECC in Berlin will also be accessible to remote participants via a digital platform.
