Dr Stefan Gaugel holds a PhD in Computer Science and is a Principal AI & Cloud Architect at Allianz Technology SE in Munich, where he is responsible for the architecture of a legally compliant and secure cloud-based AI platform. Previously, as a Senior Cloud & Data Architect at an international industrial company, he was responsible for setting up a group-wide analytics and AI platform based on Azure, as well as for technical guidelines on data quality, compliance and IT security in the cloud. He completed his PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) at the University of Ulm. Since 2022, he has also been working as a university lecturer in Enterprise Architecture, databases, artificial intelligence, and cloud and data security, bringing with him many years’ experience in explaining complex IT topics in an accessible way to non-technical audiences.
